Runners from across the country are preparing to line up at one of Britain’s fastest road race venues as the RunThrough Running GP Bedford Autodrome returns on Sunday 2 August 2026.
Taking place at the world famous Bedford Autodrome, the unique event offers a rare opportunity to race on a smooth, traffic-free motor racing circuit designed by former Formula One driver Jonathan Palmer.
Renowned as one of the flattest courses in the UK, the venue is ideal for runners aiming for a personal best as well as those taking on a new distance.
A variety of race distances are available, including the 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, 16 Mile, 20 Mile and Marathon, making the event suitable for beginners, experienced club runners and endurance athletes alike.
Every race is professionally chip timed, with fully marshalled routes, clear kilometre markers, water stations, free official event photographs and a bespoke finisher’s medal awaiting every participant.
