London To Host Bangladesh Cricket Championships

The Bangladesh Sports Network UK is proud to present the inaugural UK Bangladesh Upazila Cricket Championships.

The sports festival will commemorate and celebrate Bangladeshi cricket and bring together the best players from all over the country.

The sixteen team showdown will play out over a fortnight and include Dhaka, Bishwanath, Cumilla, Srimangal, Khulna, Kamalgonj, Habiganj, Chatkhil, Jagannathpur, Osmani Nagar, Gulapganj, Beanibazar, Moulvibazar, Chhattak, Derai and Sylhet.

The group stages will be played over four days – Monday 13-16 May 2024 at Seven Kings Park.

Tournament co-ordinator Sayfur Rahman commented, “There is great excitement in the build up to this historic sports initiative and the Bangladesh Sports Network have organised a great sporting occasion as well as a heritage event. We look forward to welcoming everybody to Seven Kings Park for six days of spectacular cricket and fanfare.”
