Jaldhup Sporting Club marked a historic milestone in their footballing journey with a celebratory dinner at Ivy Venue, Newham, following their triumph in the 2026 Beanibazar Super Cup, organised by the Beanibazar Football Foundation.
The evening brought together players, supporters, community representatives and football enthusiasts to celebrate a memorable achievement built on years of commitment, perseverance and collective belief.
After five years of determination, hard work and unwavering team spirit, Jaldhup finally lifted the coveted trophy for the first time, bringing their long awaited success to fruition. The celebrations provided an opportunity to reflect on the journey behind the silverware and recognise the people whose contributions helped make the victory possible.
Among the distinguished guests were Shumon Rahman of Beanibazar Football Foundation, Helal Uddin, Vice Chair of Beanibazar Sporting Foundation; Councillor Kamrul Hussain; and Emdad Rahman MBE. Their presence added to an evening that celebrated Jaldhup’s sporting achievement but also the powerful community connections forged through football.
Speeches throughout the evening recognised the dedication of the veterans who have helped sustain the JSC’s footballing traditions, the volunteers who work tirelessly behind the scenes, and the team managers whose organisation, leadership and commitment keep the squad moving forward. The victorious players, whose performances ultimately delivered the trophy, were rightly at the heart of the celebrations.
Managers Ruhul Amin and Dilwar commented: “Winning the Beanibazar Super Cup for the first time is the culmination of five years of unrelenting spirit, hard work and belief. This achievement belongs to everyone who has stood alongside the team, supported the players and contributed to our journey.
“The trophy is a reward for perseverance, unity and the determination never to give up.”
Beyond the result, the celebration highlighted football’s enduring role as a focal point for community life.
The game brings generations together, creates lasting friendships and provides a shared sense of identity, belonging and pride.
From veterans passing on their experience to volunteers giving their time and young players pursuing their ambitions, grassroots football continues to demonstrate the value of teamwork, respect and collective responsibility.
Jaldhup’s success also serves as a reminder that meaningful achievements rarely happen overnight. Progress is built through consistent effort, resilience in difficult moments and the willingness to keep working towards a common goal, even when success remains out of reach.
The evening at Ivy Venue was therefore about much more than lifting a cup. It was a tribute to the people, passion and perseverance behind the club, while offering inspiration for the next chapter of its footballing story.
For Jaldhup, the Beanibazar Super Cup triumph represents both the reward for five years of endeavour and the beginning of fresh ambitions. Their first title will be remembered as a landmark achievement, demonstrating that when talent is matched by commitment and a community stands firmly behind its team, the finish line can become the starting point for an even greater journey.
