BDMA Concludes Successful Biennial General Meeting and Elects Trustees for 2025–2027

The Barking and Dagenham Muslim Association (BDMA) successfully convened its Biennial General Meeting (BGM) on 5 December 2025, bringing together members, volunteers, and community representatives to review the organisation’s achievements, assess its financial health, and elect the leadership team for the next two years.

The BGM provided a comprehensive overview of BDMA’s ongoing work across Barking and Dagenham. Throughout 2024–2025, the association continued to deliver a wide range of community services, including youth engagement initiatives, educational programmes, welfare support, interfaith activities, and outreach partnerships aimed at strengthening social cohesion.

Presentation of Annual Reports

During the meeting, BDMA leadership presented two key documents:
• Annual Activities Report, outlining programme highlights, community impact, volunteer contributions, and strategic developments.
• Financial Report, detailing income, expenditure, grant usage, and financial controls.
