Winter Charity Football Tournament Set To Kick Off For A Cause

By Emdad Rahman

The spirit of community, competition, and compassion will come together this winter as House of Giving hosts its annual Winter Charity Football Tournament on Sunday, 7th December 2025. The event promises a full day of footballing action and fundraising at its finest.

This year’s tournament will feature two exciting divisions: a 12 team adult 7 a side competition and an 8 team under 14s 5 a-side contest, offering opportunities for players of all ages to lace up their boots and make a difference.

Each adult team will contribute a £100 registration fee with a £500 fundraising target, while junior teams will register for £50 and aim to raise £250. All proceeds will go towards House of Giving’s humanitarian initiatives, supporting vulnerable communities both locally and abroad through food relief, education, and welfare projects.

Organiser Nasir expressed enthusiasm for what promises to be another memorable event: “Football has always been a powerful way to bring people together. The Winter Charity Tournament is about teamwork, generosity, and changing lives.”

Players and supporters can expect a lively day packed with action, friendly rivalries, and community spirit. There will also be opportunities for attendees to learn more about the charity’s ongoing work and discover ways to get involved beyond the pitch.

Teams interested in taking part are encouraged to register early by emailing admin@houseofgiving.co.uk.

Further details are available on the charity’s official website: www.houseofgiving.co.uk

As the countdown begins, the House of Giving Winter Charity Football Tournament looks set to deliver great football, and a reminder that the game’s greatest victories happen off the field when communities come together to give back.
