A powerful blend of sport, solidarity and service is set to take place this summer as Bosnia Trust launches a unique five day Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) charity experience in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Running from Sunday 26 July to Thursday 30 July 2026, the initiative invites participants of all abilities to train, travel and contribute to meaningful humanitarian work. Whether stepping onto the mat for the first time or bringing years of experience, attendees will have the rare opportunity to learn from Bosnian BJJ World Champion Almir Kapic.
Open to both brothers and sisters, with separate training sessions available, the programme also welcomes families, creating an inclusive environment rooted in shared purpose and community spirit.
Participants can expect an enriching itinerary that beyond the training camp. Alongside BJJ workshops, the group will explore historic locations including Sarajevo, Žepče, and Srebrenica, where they will visit widows’ projects and engage directly with local communities. Cultural tours and authentic Bosnian cuisine further enhance the experience, offering deeper insight into the country’s heritage and resilience.
The package, priced at £600 per person (with an early bird rate of £495 available until 30 May), includes accommodation, meals, training sessions, transport, and guided visits. Flights are not included, and participants are encouraged to contribute towards a personal fundraising target in support of ongoing charitable efforts.
With limited spaces available, early registration is strongly advised ahead of the 10 July 2026 deadline.
