Beanibazar Sporting Foundation Announce Union Cup Draw

The Beanibazar Union Cup 2026, organised by the Beanibazar Sporting Foundation (BSF), will take place at Robert Clack Leisure Centre on Sunday 16 August 2026, bringing together footballers, supporters and community representatives for a major celebration of sport, identity and unity.

The live draw on the Ocean Estate, Stepney began with an introduction from BSF Chairman Tajul Islam, followed by a competition briefing from Vice Chair Helal Uddin.

The tournament will provide a platform for players representing different areas and unions connected to Beanibazar, while strengthening friendships and encouraging community participation through the power of football.

Beanibazar is an upazila in the Sylhet Division of Bangladesh, known for its strong community identity, rich cultural heritage and close connections with the British Bangladeshi community. The Union Cup reflects those connections by bringing people together in a positive and inclusive sporting environment.

The Beanibazar Sporting Foundation is a community led organisation committed to promoting football, encouraging healthy and active lifestyles, developing sporting opportunities and strengthening unity among people with roots in Beanibazar.

Through sport, the foundation aims to inspire young people, build relationships and create opportunities for communities to come together.
