Bishwanath manager Khalis Miah was full of gratitude, “We don’t take things for granted and our winning ethos is simply based on bleeding for the badge and unity from top to bottom.

“The golden generation are still going strong but I’d be lying if I didn’t admit to looking ahead to the future and working towards creating a lasting legacy. Thank you to our fans, sponsors and management for their non stop commitment.”

Anfor Ali, Secretary of the BIshwanath Sports Association commented after the event, “This dream was pioneered by our legends an it is a journey that has been tough and painful.

“Tonight we celebrate and pay homage to every single person who has played a part in our success – The glory days were a far dream when we started, but through blood, sweat, tears, and our unity, we have created a legacy to be proud of, one which our future generations will look back on with great pride!”
