Brilliant Beaumont Masters have rounded off a phenomenal season by completing the Inner London Football League Vets (ILFL) double.
Five goals at Mabley Green saw the Premier League champions comfortably romp home with a decisive win.
Opponents Camden Panthers put up a spirited fight but the firepower of Beaumont and mastery of the game in all positions of the pitch proved just too strong for the north Londoners.
Bobby Redwood took home the match ball with a clinical hat trick and was joined on the roster by Stephane Forbes striking a brace.
After emphatically securing their fourth League Cup the Beaumont management team of Arif Abdurrahman, Aminul Hoque and Rashid Ali commented, “This is a club built on local grassroots foundations and we dedicate this victory to our fans, our backers and of course our community.
“Camden Panthers overcame many hurdles and beat several top teams to reach the final – They were worthy opponents and we were under no illusions that we had to be at our sharpest to avoid an upset. Thankfully it all came out right on the night.”
Beaumont finish TVL 21 as double Premier League and Cup winners. An outstanding season has seen the team secure their fifth Premiership title, fourth League Cup and the prestigious Double for the second time.
