On Sunday 10th May, Junsei welcomes internationally renowned chef Judy Joo for an exclusive, one-night-only omakase experience.

Bringing her bold, modern approach to Korean cuisine, Chef Judy Joo will collaborate with Junsei’s Head Chef Zach to create a seasonal omakase menu that bridges the precision of Japanese cooking with the vibrant, expressive flavours of Korea.

Together, they will present a thoughtfully curated progression of dishes, showcasing the best of the season through a unique cross-cultural lens. Expect refined techniques, layered flavours, and unexpected combinations that celebrate both chefs’ culinary identities, all set to a vinyl soundtrack of Korean and Japanese sounds

Handcrafted prawn & brown shrimp dumplings
Binchō-tan charcoal-grilled skewers — including smoky BBQ pork belly, Kimchi.

Blackboard specials — spontaneous, one-off creations from Judy Joo

The experience will be centred around binchō-tan (備長炭) charcoal grilling, adding depth and intensity to select courses, balanced by delicate, ingredient-led plates that reflect the elegance of Japanese dining.

Throughout the evening, Junsei’s team will guide guests through the menu, offering insight into the collaboration, techniques, and inspiration behind each dish — creating an intimate and engaging dining experience.
