Football, friendship and community spirit will take centre stage this summer as the Beanibazar Sporting Foundation UK Union Cup 2026 arrives at the Robert Clack Leisure Centre on Sunday 16 August.
The open age 8 a side tournament promises a competitive yet welcoming atmosphere, bringing together players, supporters and families for a day that celebrates the power of football to connect people from different backgrounds.
With FA affiliated referees, quality 4G pitches, trophies, food stalls and free parking, organisers are preparing for a memorable occasion.
Beyond the action on the pitch, the Union Cup aims to strengthen community bonds, encourage participation in sport and provide a platform for positive engagement through football.
President Tajul Islam and Vice President Helal Uddin commented: “The Union Cup will bring communities together, build friendships and celebrate unity through sport. Football has a unique ability to connect people, inspire young players and create lasting memories.
“We look forward to welcoming teams, families and supporters for a fantastic day of competition, respect and community spirit.”
With places expected to fill quickly, anticipation is already building for what promises to be one of the standout grassroots football events of the summer.
