Excitement is building ahead of the Beanibazar Super Cup 2026, a community driven football tournament that promises energy, unity and competitive spirit under the lights this September.

Organised by the Beanibazar Football Foundation, the event will take place on 13th September at the Bobby Moore Sports Hub in Dagenham, bringing together teams, supporters and volunteers for an evening of grassroots football at its finest.

The 6 a side tournament, featuring open age teams with rolling substitutes, is designed to be both inclusive and competitive.

With FA affiliated referees, modern 5G pitches, and a dedicated media team, the organisers have ensured a professional setup while maintaining the heart of community football.

Trophies will be awarded to winners and runners up but also for standout individual performances, recognising talent and effort across the board.

The organisers shared: “This is about bringing people together, celebrating where we come from, and giving young players a platform to express themselves. The lights, the atmosphere, the passion all reflects the spirit of our community.”

Beanibazar is a sub district in the Sylhet region of Bangladesh, known for its rich heritage, strong diaspora connections, and contributions to education, business and public service. Over decades, the Beanibazar community has established a prominent presence in the UK, particularly in East London, where cultural identity and community cohesion remain strong.

Events like the Super Cup reflect that legacy whilst bridging generations, connecting heritage with present day realities, and using sport as a vehicle for engagement. Football becomes a shared language, a reminder of roots, and a tool for social good.

With a £150 entry fee and strong interest expected, the tournament is set to attract competitive teams ready to embrace “the night, the lights, the battle.”

Beyond the action on the pitch, the event stands as a celebration of identity, resilience and togetherness – values that continue to define the Beanibazar community both at home and abroad.
