The Shuljar Foundation has announced its 8th Annual Charity Football Tournament, set to take place on Sunday, 26 July 2026, at New River Sports Centre, White Hart Lane, London.

The community event will bring together teams, supporters and local communities for a day of football, friendship and fundraising in aid of vulnerable people around the world.

Organised in support of Lonely Orphans, the tournament will help raise vital funds for humanitarian projects supporting orphans, widows and disadvantaged families.

The competition will feature a 5 a side format with three substitutes per team, open to players aged 18 and over. FA affiliated referees will officiate throughout the day, ensuring a competitive and professionally managed tournament. Food stalls, special guest appearances and a vibrant family atmosphere are expected to add to the occasion.

Teams will compete for trophies and medals, while individual honours will include Player of the Tournament, Top Goal Scorer, Best Goalkeeper and the Man of the Match award in the final.

The tournament is held in memory of the late Shuljar, whose legacy continues to inspire acts of generosity and community spirit.

Organisers hope the event will not only raise much needed funds but also unite people through sport, compassion and collective action.

Md Imran from Lonely Orphans commented, “Through football this is an opportunity for communities to come together, remember our beloved Shuljar and make a real difference to the lives of vulnerable people.

“Through the power of sport, we can unite individuals from all backgrounds while raising vital funds for orphans, widows and families facing hardship.

“Every team, player, volunteer and supporter contributes towards a greater cause. We look forward to welcoming everyone for a day of competition, friendship, remembrance and charity, and we thank all those who continue to support this event year after year.”
