Faith Inspire celebrated its 10th anniversary with a special evening of reflection, inspiration and celebration at Redbridge Town Hall, bringing together community leaders, volunteers, supporters and partners to mark a decade of service and leadership development.

The event was co hosted by Aisha Humairah and Abul Kalam, who guided guests through an engaging programme featuring speeches, performances and discussions with both current and former leaders of the organisation.

Established in 2016, Faith Inspire has grown from a grassroots initiative into a respected organisation dedicated to nurturing confident, compassionate and civic minded young people.

Through its flagship programmes: Scouts, Steps, Strive and Leap, it has helped hundreds of participants develop leadership skills, strengthen their character and make positive contributions within their communities.

The evening featured keynote addresses from Dr Wajid Akhter and Zara Mohammed, who highlighted the importance of faith inspired leadership, community service and investing in future generations. Dr Akhter described Faith Inspire as “a rare diamond”, recognising its lasting impact on the lives of young people and the wider community.

Guests also enjoyed moving Qur’an recitations and nasheeds from Sheikh Al Saeedi and Dawood Islam, creating moments of reflection throughout the celebration.

Current Chair Mostafa Hussain was joined by former Chairs Hussain Sheefar and Junaid Ahmed in paying tribute to the volunteers, supporters and members whose dedication has shaped the organisation’s success over the past decade.

Reflecting on Faith Inspire’s journey, Mostafa Hussain said: “Compassion has remained the foundation of everything the organisation has achieved, guiding its relationships with volunteers, supporters and the communities it serves.”

A major highlight of the evening was the launch of Vision 2035, an ambitious strategy outlining Faith Inspire’s aspirations for the next decade.

The vision focuses on developing a new generation of confident, compassionate and faith driven leaders equipped with the knowledge, character and purpose to make meaningful contributions to society.

Guests later shared a celebratory meal provided by All Season Foods, bringing the anniversary event to a fitting close.

As Faith Inspire looks towards its next chapter, the organisation remains committed to building stronger communities through leadership, volunteering, education and civic engagement. Ten years after its formation, it continues to inspire individuals to serve others with excellence, integrity and compassion while laying the foundations for an even greater legacy in the years ahead.
