Residents are being encouraged to roll up their sleeves and help make Barking and Dagenham cleaner as the borough’s next #CleanerBD Day of Action approaches.

The community clean-up will take place on Wednesday 26 August, from 10am to 12pm, focusing on Beam Valley Country Park and the area around Dagenham East Station.

The initiative provides residents with an opportunity to come together, take positive action and help improve shared spaces across the borough.

All equipment will be provided, making it easy for anyone who wants to get involved to take part.

The meeting location within Beam Valley Country Park is still to be confirmed.

Residents wishing to participate are asked to RSVP to socialmedia@lbbd.gov.uk by Friday 21 August.

The #CleanerBD campaign highlights the importance of collective responsibility and encourages everyone to play their part in keeping the borough clean, welcoming and enjoyable for all.

A cleaner borough starts with us all.
